Job summary

HRappka is seeking experienced Pipe Fitters for a cruise ship renovation project in Marseille, France. This temporary assignment includes organizing and covering flights, transportation, and accommodation, with A1 certificate formalities handled by the employer.

Project dates run in two sessions: 08.11.2026–14 days and 23.11.2026–14 days. Passport validity of at least six months is mandatory, and the role may require working abroad on secondment.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in marine or industrial pipe fitting.
• Experience with carbon steel and stainless steel.
• Ability to read piping isometrics, P&IDs and technical drawings.
• Passport valid for at least 6 months – mandatory.
• Willingness to work abroad; secondment possible and A1 certificate requirements.

Responsibilities

• Pipe fabrication and installation.
• Measuring, marking, cutting and grinding.
• Fitting of pipes, elbows, tees, reducers, flanges and valves.
• Pipe and flange alignment.
• Preparation and fit-up of joints for welding.
• Fabrication of pipe spools.
• Installation of supports and brackets.

Job description

We are currently looking for experienced Pipe Fitters to join a cruise ship renovation project in Marseille, France. This is a temporary assignment. We will handle all the formalities related to obtaining the A1 certificate.

Project Dates:

• Project I: from 08.11.2026 – for 14 days
• Project II: from 23.11.2026 – for 14 days

Responsibilities:

• Pipe fabrication and installation
• Measuring, marking, cutting and grinding
• Fitting of pipes, elbows, tees, reducers, flanges and valves
• Pipe and flange alignment
• Preparation and fit-up of joints for welding
• Fabrication of pipe spools
• Installation of supports and brackets

Job requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in marine or industrial pipe fitting
• Experience working with carbon steel and stainless steel
• Ability to read and interpret piping isometrics, P&IDs and technical drawings
• Ability to work accurately to specified dimensions and tolerances
• Knowledge of shipyard HSE requirements
• Willingness to work abroad
• Passport valid for at least 6 months – mandatory
• Willingness to work on a secondment basis (the employee must meet the requirements for obtaining an A1 certificate from ZUS)
• Communicative English is an advantage.
