Pigment in Paris is seeking a Software Engineer Intern to contribute to our AI-powered SaaS platform. You will work with senior engineers on data ingestion and modeler projects, writing robust code and learning our tech stack including C#, React, TypeScript, Docker, Kubernetes.

This internship offers hands-on experience, a hybrid working arrangement in Paris, and potential path to continue with the team after the internship; you will be part of a collaborative culture that values curiosity,

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering skills: translate requirements into simple, elegant designs.
• Ability to deliver robust, maintainable code in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with modern web stacks and distributed systems is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to Data Ingestion and Modeler projects within Pigment’s AI-powered platform.
• Collaborate with engineers to implement, test and ship features across frontend and backend stacks.

Check out our Tech Blog!As a Software Engineer Intern , you will work on meaningful projects that directly impact our product, collaborating with experienced engineers and contributing to challenges at scale. During your internship, you will have the opportunity to work on one of the following projects:Project overview in the Data Ingestion team:The Data Ingestion team is in charge of how customer data gets into Pigment, notably through our library of connectors to external systems.Upgrade, migrate and improve our connector libraryUpgrade and migrate existing connectors to newer versions and approaches.Improve the reliability, performance, and consistency of the connector library.Contribute to shared tooling and documentation to make new connectors faster to build.Project overview in the Modeler team:The Modeler team builds the AI-powered tools that help customers create and evolve planning models in Pigment.Importing a model from another planning tool with the Modeler AgentExplore whether recent progress in LLMs and the Modeler Agent makes it possible to recreate a model from another planning tool in Pigment.Design an automated approach to translate its structure, dimensions, and formulas into Pigment blocks and valid formulas.Define tests to validate that the imported model behaves as expected.Technical StackOur stack includes:Languages & Frameworks: C# (.NET Core Linux), React, TypeScriptDatabases: PostgreSQLInfrastructure: Google Cloud Platform, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, RabbitMQCI/CD: CircleCIWe don’t expect you to know them all.
