Pigment in Paris is offering an internship for a Software Engineer (Back, Fullstack) to contribute to our SaaS platform. You will work across data ingestion and modeling teams, improving connectors, building automated translation of models, and delivering robust code in a hybrid Paris environment.

• Strong software engineering skills: ability to translate requirements into simple, robust designs.

Responsabilités

• Upgrade, migrate and improve our connector library.
• Upgrade and migrate existing connectors to newer versions and approaches.
• Improve reliability, performance, and consistency of the connector library.
• Contribute to shared tooling and documentation to speed up building new connectors.
• Importing a model from another planning tool with the Modeler Agent.
• Explore whether recent progress in LLMs and the Modeler Agent can recreate a model in Pigment.
• Design an automated approach to translate structure, dimensions, and formulas into Pigment blocks and valid formulas.
• Define tests to validate that the imported model behaves as expected.

Our Engineering team Our Engineering team is responsible for developing our SaaS platform and building a comprehensive and user-friendly product. Pigment engineers participate in the entire application development lifecycle, focusing on design, coding, and keeping the production platform up and running. They can be specialized, but there is no strict separation between the infrastructure, backend, and the frontend. We value user-centricity and pragmatism: we choose the most relevant tools for the problem we have to solve, understanding the strengths and constraints of each technology. Projects

Data Ingestion Team

• Upgrade, migrate and improve our connector library
• Upgrade and migrate existing connectors to newer versions and approaches.
• Improve the reliability, performance, and consistency of the connector library.
• Contribute to shared tooling and documentation to make new connectors faster to build.

Modeler Team

• Importing a model from another planning tool with the Modeler Agent
• Explore whether recent progress in LLMs and the Modeler Agent makes it possible to recreate a model from another planning tool in Pigment.
• Design an automated approach to translate its structure, dimensions, and formulas into Pigment blocks and valid formulas.
