The PERIOVIR PhD project at Université côte d'azur aims to decipher how human herpesviruses interact with bacteria and host responses to drive periodontitis progression. Qualifications

• PhD-level candidate with strong background in molecular and cellular biology.
• Experience in virology and immunology research.
• Familiarity with analyzing clinical samples and translational projects.

Responsabilités

• Characterize HHV roles and interactions with microbiota and host responses during periodontitis progression.
• Identify viral, bacterial and immune signatures across disease stages.
• Develop molecular and cellular approaches, including virology and immunology techniques, to study virus–bacteria–host networks.
