CNRS Institut des Neurosciences Cellulaires et Intégratives (INCI) in Strasbourg invites applications for a PhD student position within the Opioid System, Nociception and Pain team. You will work on sepsis-related neuroinflammation and glucuronidation in glial cells, combining in vitro and in vivo approaches with mass spectrometry.

The project offers access to core facilities, a collaborative international environment, and affiliation with Doctoral School 414 at the University of Strasbourg.

Qualifications

• The PhD project requires biochemical, imaging and molecular biology skills.
• Experience with glial biology and neurotransmitter metabolism is a plus.
• Strong data analysis and coordination in a team setting.

Responsabilités

• Lead in vitro and in vivo experiments on glial glucuronidation pathways.
• Perform mass spectrometry and imaging analyses on brain samples.
• Collaborate with genetic and pharmacological approaches to dissect pathways.
• Publish findings and present at seminars.
