Job summary

Université Grenoble Alpes launches a 36-month MSCA-COFUND PhD position under Tec21 on nanoscale vesicle transport through the extracellular matrix. The project combines physics, biology and modeling to uncover mechanisms of vesicle movement in tissue.

This PhD will be co-supervised by Giovanni Cappello and Mehdi Bouzid, with experimental and theoretical components across two Tec21 labs on the Grenoble campus.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in Physics, Engineering or Biology.
• Strong interest in interdisciplinary work at the interface of physics and biology, and in combining theory and experiments.
• Knowledge in optical microscopy, cell culture, microfluidics, data analysis, programming, numerical simulation and theoretical modeling.
• Be fluent in English (at least B2).
• Autonomy and ability to work in a team.
