COFUND QuanG invites applications for a PhD position focused on entangling two flying electron qubits through orbital coupling in solid-state devices. The project builds on recent results and aims to demonstrate quantum entanglement of injected wave packets via Coulomb interaction.

The PhD is fully funded for three years under the QuanG2 program in Grenoble, with a strong international research environment and mobility within the network.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree or equivalent qualification required by deadline.
  • Strong background in quantum mechanics and solid-state physics.
  • Experience with Python programming or nanofabrication is highly appreciated.

Responsabilités

  • Entangle two flying electron qubits through orbital coupling as part of the PhD work.
  • Perform experimental quantum information research in solid-state devices.
  • Contribute to the development and validation of flying qubit protocols and measurements.
