The PhD project ALPHACAGE focuses on azamacrocyclic-based chelators for therapeutic radiometals in nuclear medicine, hosted in Brest, France. You will design and synthesize pyclen-based ligands, study their thermodynamic and kinetic properties, and contribute to radiolabelling and radiopharmaceutical development with multidisciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field (Organic, Medicinal or Radiochemistry) is required.
• Experience in organic synthesis is highly appreciated.
• Knowledge of coordination chemistry, NMR or radiochemistry is advantageous but not mandatory.

Responsabilités

• Design and synthesis of pyclen-based macrocyclic ligands.
• Development of picolinate/picolinamide architectures based on HSAB concepts.
• Study coordination chemistry of Pb2+, Bi3+, Ba2+, Ra2+ and Ac3+; thermodynamic/kinetic investigations.
• Radiolabelling with therapeutic radionuclides and development of bifunctional chelators.
• Evaluate radiochemical stability and prepare radiopharmaceutical building blocks.
