Job summary

Walmart Pharmacy invites a recent pharmacy graduate to join our team as a Grad Intern, gaining hands-on experience in customer health and well-being within a community pharmacy.

You will learn to enhance patient care, process prescriptions and OTC orders, stock supplies, and uphold HIPAA/PHI guidelines while supporting the pharmacy team in a fast-paced environment.

This internship provides exposure to clinical workflows and community outreach activities as part of Walmart's healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in final year at an accredited Pharmacy school.
• Pharmacy Immunization Delivery Certification preferred.
• Experience with confidential patient information and HIPAA/PHI guidelines is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Process prescriptions and OTC orders.
• Deliver patient care by assessing patient needs and guiding therapies.
• Stock and inventory management in the pharmacy area.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and PHI guidelines.
