Medicine Express, Inc. seeks a Data Entry Pharmacy Technician for our Belleville, IL pharmacy. You will transcribe orders, prepare unit doses, and ensure accuracy while working under a licensed pharmacist.

Qualifications

• Must be certified with Illinois Board of Pharmacy
• Associate degree/technical program or HS diploma with relevant experience
• Active pharmacy technician registration in Illinois
• Strong communication and customer service
• Willing to work on-site in rotating shifts including weekends/holidays

Responsabilités

• Transcribes physicians' orders into the pharmacy system and prepares unit doses
• Prepackages medications and labels for dispensing
• Communicates with prescribers and nurses about orders
• Performs narcotic preparation with proper records
• Maintains regulatory compliance and recalls documentation
• Assists with billing and order processing
• Maintains accuracy and tidiness of records and paperwork
