What are we looking for?

We're looking for a Payroll & Benefits Officer who thrives on accuracy and enjoys managing the details that make a big difference to employees. You understand that payroll and benefits are more than administrative processes. They are a key part of the employee experience, and you take pride in getting them right.

In this role, you'll navigate the complexity of supporting multiple European countries, legal entities, benefit plans and payroll providers. You enjoy working with data, systems and processes, while also being a trusted point of contact for employees and managers who count on your expertise and support.

You’ll fit right in if you're highly organized, service-minded and proactive, with a strong eye for detail and a genuine interest in international payroll and benefits. You like collaborating across teams, continuously improving processes and building expertise in a dynamic European environment.

What are your key responsibilities?
  • Coordinate accurate and timely payroll processing across multiple European countries, legal entities and employee populations.
  • Administer a broad range of employee benefits, including company cars, insurance, pension plans, mobility solutions and country-specific benefit programs.
  • Maintain high-quality employee data in Workday and support payroll and benefits activities throughout the entire employee lifecycle.
  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for employees, managers and HR colleagues on payroll and benefits-related topics.
  • Partner closely with payroll providers, insurers, brokers and internal stakeholders across Europe to ensure smooth and compliant operations.
  • Support reporting, audits and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, data quality and employee experience.
  • Build expertise across all countries within scope and provide back-up support to ensure business continuity.
What do you bring?
  • Bachelor's degree or professional certifications in Human Resources, Payroll, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field required. A master's degree is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of experience in payroll, benefits administration, HR operations or a similar role.
  • Solid understanding of payroll processes, benefits administration and employee lifecycle management.
  • Experience working in an international environment with multiple legal entities.
  • Experience working with HR systems, preferably Workday.
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills, with the ability to manage recurring deadlines.
  • A strong service-oriented mindset and communication skills.
  • Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in one or more of the following languages is considered an asset: Dutch, French, German, and Italian.
