Airbus Commercial seeks a Patent Attorney (d/f/m) to join our Intellectual Property (IP) department based either in Toulouse, France or Ottobrunn, Germany. You will lead the drafting, filing, and prosecution of patent applications, manage a diverse portfolio with emphasis on avionics and AI domains, and advise on patentability to align IP assets with Airbus strategies.

• Lead the drafting, filing, and prosecution of patent applications.
• Provide expert advice on patentability to align IP assets with strategic objectives.
• Manage a broad patent portfolio with focus on avionics and AI domains.

Responsabilités

• Lead the drafting, filing, and prosecution of patent applications.
• Conduct inventor cross-examinations and provide expert advice on patentability.
• Manage a broad portfolio ensuring geographical protection and invention prioritization.
• Prepare post-grant revocation actions and support IP litigation and pre-dispute work.
• Support negotiation and drafting of IP-centric agreements.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, Programs to educate on IP.
