Job summary

Next Ventures is seeking a French-speaking Material Planner for a Paris-based contract role. You will manage material availability, align with demand forecasts, and optimize inventory to support production.

The position requires strong MRP knowledge and ERP experience in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should have proven planning experience in supply chain, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with suppliers, procurement, and production teams to maintain smooth

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Material Planner or similar.
• Strong understanding of MRP, inventory control, and supply chain processes.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) required.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and monitor material plans to support production and operational requirements.
• Ensure material availability tied to forecasts and schedules.
• Monitor inventory levels and mitigate shortages.
• Liaise with suppliers and procurement on POs and lead times.
• Track supplier performance and resolve delivery delays.
• Maintain planning data in ERP/MRP systems.
