Job summary

Marble seeks an Associate to drive venture creation across grid hardware, power electronics, energy storage, semiconductors, photonics and compute infrastructure. You will work on opportunity research, founder recruitment, tech/product development, economic analysis, GTM, fundraising, portfolio management, and decision making.

Location is Paris, France with English fluency required and French or German a plus.

Qualifications

• PhD in Applied Physics, Engineering Physics, or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience building hardware that works in real-world environments.
• Commercial orientation toward product, customers, and deployment.
• First principles reasoning to analyze complex problems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Talent intuition for identifying great founders.
• Proactive, fast-moving with high ownership on projects.

Responsibilities

• Conduct opportunity research to identify where Marble should create new companies.
• Source and recruit founders in residence to build with Marble.
• Guide venture ideas with founders, de-risk them, and map to seed-stage plans.
