Propelis is seeking a Packaging Project Manager to oversee packaging development projects for a dairy client. You will coordinate between SGX/Co teams and client, ensuring on-time and on-quality delivery at Boulogne-Billancourt client premises.

You will lead color retouching, proof management, and liaise with printers, attending technical meetings. Fluent French and English required; a packaging/graphic arts background with 2+ years in packaging is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Packaging, Graphic Arts, Design, Marketing, Project Management or a related field.
• Equivalent of 2+ years of experience in the packaging industry, in artwork management or client-facing roles.
• Operating knowledge of graphics software applications (Illustrator & Photoshop).
• French and English proficient.

Responsabilités

• Assist the client marketing team on packaging projects, developing and executing packaging ranges and color retouching.
• Be the expert of the graphic chain, ensuring compliance with standards, guidelines, and printers' specs; detect anomalies in files.
• Participate in technical meetings, launches, printer contacts, proof management and press passing.
• Set priorities based on timelines and provide clear visibility on timing for client and production teams.
• Coordinate color retouching and artwork production between SGS&Co and the client.
• Coordinate packaging production via job instructions and schedules to complete jobs.
• Drive continuous improvement for color processes in line with global artwork standards.
• Review proofs and coordinate revisions; ensure internal process compliance.
• Build strong client relationships to support account retention and growth.

Position Summary

The Packaging Project Manager provides project management for the client (dairy sector), coordinating efforts between the client and SGX Teams.

First point of contact for the client's marketing teams in the coordination of packaging development projects.

Essential Responsibilities, Accountabilities & results:

• Assist the client marketing team on packaging projects. Responsible for the development and execution of packaging ranges and color retouching.
• Be an expert of the graphic chain, execution of packaging in compliance with the applicable standards, guidelines, and printers' specifications. Be in charge of detecting and addressing anomalies within the files.
• Participate actively in technical meetings (launch of the range, contact with the printers, etc.), press passing, technical point of contact for proof management.
• Establish priorities based on project timelines. Provide the client and production team with clear visibility on the timing. Responsible for the On-time & On-quality delivery.
• Coordinate the color retouching and artwork production between SGS&Co team and client.
• Coordinate packaging production via job instructions and schedules to complete jobs.
• Drive continuous improvement pipeline for color process and ensure alignment with the global artwork process.
• Review proofs to ensure instructions were followed. Coordinate revisions if required.
• Ensure compliance with the company’s internal processes.
• Build and foster an excellent relationship with the client to ensure account retention and growth.

Skills & Experience

• Solid technical skills and knowledge of the graphic chain and packaging (artwork and reprography), printing processes (offset, flexo, rotogravure), proofing, and color management.

Educational & Experience Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Packaging, Graphic Arts, Design, Marketing, Project Management or a related field is preferred.
• Equivalent of 2+ years of experience in the packaging industry. In artwork management, packaging production client facing roles, ideally within FMCG, beverage, or regulated industries.
• Operating knowledge of graphics software applications (i.e. Illustrator & Photoshop)
• French and English Proficient
