Alan is building the new standard in prevention insurance, integrating insurance, prevention and care into a single, acclaimed user experience. The company aims to end the wait and make health a universal right by connecting prevention with care, with teams across France, Spain, Belgium and Canada.

Our Operations team guarantees delivery at scale and collaborates with Product, Design, Engineering and Customer Support to drive efficiency, expansion, and disruption across the business.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience in Operations management or entrepreneurship.
• Fluent in English and Spanish/French/Dutch.
• Strong structure and analytical skills, including SQL.
• Capable of building automations (Zapier, n8n).
• Excels at launching and steering projects by setting the high level vision and monitoring day-to-day progress.
• Strong at optimizing processes while maintaining member delight.
• Comfortable in fast-paced environments and proactive about efficiency.
• Collaborates effectively with transversal teams and is hands-on when needed.

Responsabilités

• Scaling psychotherapy online sessions: define operating model, resource decisions, quality at scale, international replication.
• Saving millions through fraud detection: build detection capability, balance precision and experience, manage external surface.
• Reinventing healthcare expense payment: negotiate suppliers, cut costs while improving satisfaction.

Operations at Alan

Our Operations team guarantees the delivery at scale of our insurance and healthcare products, efficiently and delightfully.

This means

• Bringing the ops perspective into Alan strategy
• Building our organisation and processes to deliver the vision to allow further disruption and product diversification
• Monitoring and running those processes internally or externally on a daily basis
• Scaling efficiently and industrializing our operational stack to handle fast growth, international expansion and cost optimisation

We handle complex projects in constant interactions with multidisciplinary teams (Product & Design, Engineering, Data, Customer Support, Finance, etc.).

You’ll be joining 30+ talented, committed, passionate Ops team members from five different countries. As we grow, expand and diversify our business our operations are becoming ever more complex and our challenges ahead have never been as exciting!

The challenges

We are looking for entrepreneurs in the mindset wishing to disrupt (and not only upgrade) the way we traditionally think about insurance or healthcare. Our goal is to deeply re-engineer the experience we offer to our members .

We move fast and are proud to tackle big problems! One of our core value is ownership : we expect you to tackle Alan's problems from end to end with a long‑term focus, acting on the behalf of the entire Company, never saying “it’s not my job” and being accountable for your actions.

Here are some examples of missions you could contribute to

• Scaling psychotherapy online sessions: Defining the operating model from scratch, making hard resourcing decisions under uncertainty, managing quality at scale, and driving international replication. Today: 80,000 sessions were delivered & 93% of users report reduced stress.
• Saving millions through fraud detection: Building a detection capability with no playbook. Owning make‑vs‑buy decisions on tooling, balancing precision against member experience at scale, and managing the external surface. Partner negotiations, industry lobbying, and ecosystem‑level fraud strategy.
• Reinventing healthcare expense payment: Challenging a key French health insurance item (Tiers Payant), owning complex supplier negotiations autonomously, and cutting the budget line by more than half while improving member satisfaction.

If you have some of the following, you may be a great fit

• You have at least 2 years of professional experience in Operations management or entrepreneurship
• You are fully fluent in English and Spanish/French/Dutch
• You have a high level of structure and strong analytical skills (including Sql fluency for data analysis)
• You are capable of building automations (Zapier, n8n…)
• You excel at launching and steering projects by setting the high level vision and monitoring the day to day progress
• You are strong at optimizing processes while never compromising with members’ delight
• You are comfortable in fast‑paced environments: you know how to deal with uncertainty, remaining proactive and focused on efficiency
• You love to collaborate with transversal teams, not afraid to be hands‑on nor to challenge past decisions.

For this role we are looking to hire within the B1-D level range based out of France, Belgium or Spain.
