UMA is seeking an Operator - Data Collection in Paris for part-time shifts. You will remotely pilot robots, collect and label data, and help engineers refine AI-driven behavior. The role emphasizes precision, reliability, and calm decision-making in live sessions and requires strong communication in English.

On-site training is provided; no prior technical background is needed. This position centers on safe, efficient operation within a collaborative R&D environment.

Your Mission

As an Operator - Data Collection, you’ll work closely with our R&D and engineering teams to operate and supervise robots during tests and live sessions. You’ll help our robots perform tasks accurately and safely, and provide valuable feedback that directly influences their development.

Key responsibilities :

• Remotely pilot and supervise robots during operational sessions (2-3 hours)
• Participate in data collection and labeling tasks to enhance AI model performance
• Ensure smooth and precise robot actions through visual monitoring and movement adjustment
• Visual quality control and movement adjustment
• Share operational insights with engineers to help refine behavior and performance
• Follow safety and standard operating procedures around live hardware, without exception
