Twenty Technologies seeks an experienced data engineer to design, build, and operate data integrations for a government customer site in Northern Virginia. You’ll own production-grade extensions, ensure secure data handling, and collaborate with Arlington teams to maintain performance and reliability.

You’ll work hands-on on a restricted, air-gapped environment, delivering end-to-end data integration features and operational learnings to shape the platform’s evolution.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, or software engineering with a substantial data infrastructure focus.
• Strong programming ability in Python or Go, with code quality suitable for remote review.
• Hands-on experience building ETL/ELT pipelines (Airflow, NiFi, AWS Glue, or equivalent).
• Strong SQL and schema design skills, incl. partitioning and indexing decisions.
• Experience debugging production data systems under time pressure.
• Experience in forward deployed, field engineering, or embedded customer-facing engineering role.
• Ability to work on-site full-time at a government facility in Northern Virginia, with travel to Arlington typically 4 days per month.

Responsabilités

• Design and build software extensions that retrieve, parse, transform, and load new data sources into Twenty's applications.
• Coordinate with customer deployment teams to approve, deploy, and run extensions in the high-side environment.
• Monitor data pipelines and build dashboards/alerts to visualize health and quality.
• Diagnose production issues in the data path and drive root-cause analysis with Arlington engineering.
