Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking an experienced Project HSE Advisor to support large-scale offshore infrastructure projects. The role is based in southern France, delivering HSE guidance across onshore, nearshore and offshore packages in the Biscay Gulf.

You will ensure compliance with French regulations, coordinate with contractors, and promote a proactive safety culture in an international project environment.

Qualifications

• Previous HSE advisory experience on infrastructure, offshore, marine or construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of French HSE legislation and compliance practices.
• Experience with risk assessments, inductions, inspections and incidents.
• Ability to work in an international project environment and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Act as visible HSE presence and safety champion on project operations.
• Support implementation of HSE plans in line with laws and client requirements.
• Provide day-to-day HSE guidance to project teams and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with French HSE legislation relevant to the scope.
• Coordinate HSE matters between onshore and offshore/marine operations.
• Lead site inductions, toolbox talks and safety briefings.
• Assist with permit-to-work, risk assessments and safety reviews.
• Support HSE audits and corrective actions, incidents investigations.
