Job summary

Riviera Bar Crawl & Tours (RBCT) is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead the logistical heartbeat of our Riviera operations. You will oversee daytime tours for accuracy and efficiency and craft new tour products to keep RBCT at the forefront of Mediterranean tourism.

You will coordinate guides and hosts, ensure high-energy, safe nightlife events, and manage guest relations from booking to post-event follow-up.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3+ years in Tourism or Hospitality (Operations or Product Development preferred).
• Versatility: Able to discuss 18th-century architecture in a morning meeting and manage a VIP club entry at midnight.
• Language: Native-level fluency in English; French is a plus.
• Leadership: Ability to motivate a diverse team of international guides and hosts.

• Tour Development & Product Creation: Research and develop new walking tours, themed routes, and nightlife concepts.
• Operations & Logistics: Coordinate guides, schedules, and logistics; ensure quality and safety.

Riviera Bar Crawl & Tours (RBCT) is the premier experience provider on the French Riviera. We specialize in the "360-degree" travel experience—from historical guided walking tours and scenic sightseeing adventures by day, to world-class nightlife and bar crawl experiences by night.

Whether it’s a boutique private tour of Monaco or a 100-person party in the heart of Nice, we are dedicated to showing our guests the absolute best of the Riviera. We are looking for an Assistant Manager who is as passionate about cultural storytelling as they are about the energy of a vibrant nightlife scene.

The Role

This is a high-impact leadership role. You will be responsible for the logistical heartbeat of our operations, ensuring that our daytime tours are informative and seamless, and our evening events are high-energy and safe. Crucially, you will also lead the creation and development of new tour products to keep RBCT at the forefront of the Mediterranean tourism market.

Tasks

Your Missions

1. Tour Development & Product Creation (New)

• Creative Design: Research and develop new walking tours, themed sightseeing routes, and unique nightlife concepts (e.g., Speakeasy tours, seasonal parties).
• Itinerary Engineering: Build out the logistics, timing, and "wow factors" for new products.
• Costing & Profitability: Calculate margins, negotiate with partner bars/venues, and set competitive pricing strategies.
• Content Writing: Create engaging descriptions for our website and marketing materials to bring the tours to life.

2. Operations & Logistics

• Guide Coordination: Manage the daily schedule for our team of local guides and party hosts.
• Quality Control: Conduct "field checks" to ensure walking tours meet our historical accuracy standards and bar crawls maintain high energy.
• Supply Chain: Manage relationships with transport partners, venues, and third-party vendors.

3. Customer Service & Guest Experience

• Guest Relations: Monitor online reviews (TripAdvisor, Google) and implement immediate improvements based on feedback.
• Crisis Management: Act as the primary point of contact for on-the-ground issues, from sudden weather changes affecting tours to guest inquiries during nightlife events.
• On-Boarding: Ensure every guest receives the "RBCT Gold Standard" of service from the moment they book until their last drink of the night.
