Job summary

TP ICAP Group is seeking an Equity Research intern for its European small/mid-cap coverage, based in Paris. You will work at the intersection of finance, data science, and AI, contributing to the development of a Big Data prediction product and supporting investment decision processes.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, or Finance, with strong Python and SQL skills and an interest in machine learning.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently graduated with a Master’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, or Finance.
• Strong Python and SQL skills; knowledge of R and VBA is a plus.
• Experience in data analysis and exposure to machine learning preferred; finance experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design and refine micro- and macroeconomic prediction models to support investment decisions.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of industry trends and economic indicators.
• Track and interpret market news to identify potential impacts on listed companies.
• Participate in meetings presenting company results and contribute to research discussions.
