Job summary

TP ICAP Group's Louis Capital Markets (LCM) in Paris is offering an off-cycle internship for a Big Data Analyst. The role blends finance, data science, and AI to develop macroeconomic prediction indicators for listed stocks and its Big Data product.

We seek a Master’s graduate or student in Engineering, Data Science, or Finance with strong Python and SQL skills, curiosity, and ability to work independently. French and English communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Engineering, Data Science, or Finance.
• Strong analytical skills, curiosity, and ability to work independently.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL; knowledge of R and VBA is a plus.
• Initial experience in Data Analysis or Machine Learning; finance is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design and refine micro- and macroeconomic prediction models to support investment decisions.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of industry trends and economic indicators.
• Track and interpret market news to identify potential impacts on listed companies.
• Participate in meetings presenting company results and contribute to research discussions.
• Explore new indicators and assist in enhancing our Big Data product.
• Implement AI tools to optimize research processes and stay ahead of technological advancements.
• Maintain and improve large-scale financial and economic databases.
