- Align programs and drumbeat stakeholder activities to define and launch the implementation of appropriate resolution scenarios;
- Ensure end-to-end follow-up and drumbeating of case resolutions on time and on quality to secure solution implementation before reaching actual shortage dates to avoid missing parts for serial production or support of the in-service fleet, setting up MFT whenever relevant;
- Update the obsolescence database daily on a real-time basis, ensuring consistency and accuracy across tools including TOM, ECR, and SAP (e.g., obso flag);
- Protect company interests by listing and flagging obsolete parts inside IT systems that should be non-procurable, linking with forecast and procurability activities (SCDM);
- Follow up LBO stocks with support from the Obsolescence Logistic Manager, integrating supplier inputs on stock follow-up upon receipt of reports;
- Perform ad hoc analysis of potential obsolescence cases for programmes or support departments to communicate actual status of resolution;
- Alert OSC Team Leader and management when critical topics require specific attention or escalation, including blocking issues and risk of missing parts or confirmed missing parts;
- Update the OSC priority file and define action plans;
- Prepare slides related to obsolescence cases and participate in obsolescence program reviews across your portfolio and Mission Obsolescence Days with suppliers.
