Position

Nurse in the HKU Health System of the LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 533611) – to commence as soon as possible on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

About HKUHS Clinical Centre

HKUHS Clinical Centre is an established medical clinic that supports clinical teaching and research activities and serves as an enabling platform to deliver a growing range of primary care initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide quality, safe and professional nursing services to the clients of the Centre.
  • Assist doctors in clinical consultations, examinations and other clinical procedures.
  • Support the Nursing Manager in maintaining the smooth day-to-day service operation of the Centre in accordance with the approved service plan.
  • Participate in developing and monitoring relevant protocols and guidelines for delivering high-quality patient care and efficient Centre operations.
  • Coach Clinic Assistants and other supporting staff to ensure high standards of patient care and customer satisfaction.
  • Support the establishment of a patient safety culture.
  • Proactively contribute to managing clinical risks and continuous improvement process.
  • Handle patient complaints and contribute to the follow-up of clinical incidents.
  • Provide healthcare promotion and education to patients and their carers.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Nursing Manager.

Other Details

Occasional performance of duties outside normal office hours may be required. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for interview.
