Wärtsilä Energy is seeking a Nuclear Supplier Inspector to monitor supplier manufacturing and requalification of critical UD engine parts. The preferred location is Surgères, France, with negotiable options in Mulhouse or Paris. Hybrid remote work is available.

The role involves validation of technical data, inspection scheduling, and ensuring conformance with standards, regulations, and quality requirements. Travel is 60%–80% across Europe, with a collaborative Suppliers Control team.

Qualifications

• Technical knowledge in rotating machines, mechanics, and engines.
• Significant inspection experience in industrial field (nuclear/aerospace/auto preferred).
• Knowledge of tests and non-destructive testing techniques.
• Ability to read plans and manufacturing processes.
• Good level of English required.

Responsabilités

• Validate purchase orders by checking technical and quality data against requirements.
• Manage inspection schedules and coordinate with suppliers and survey bodies.
• Inspect nuclear spare parts and requalified equipment at supplier sites.
• Ensure steps conform to PO and applicable standards/regulations.
• Document deviations and coordinate resolution with suppliers and internal teams.
• Communicate inspection progress and results to internal stakeholders.
• Draft detailed inspection reports.
• Participate in supplier inspection management meetings.
