Job summary

Qualifications

• Relevant technical background in rotating machines, mechanics or engines.
• Significant inspection experience (workshop or supplier) in industrial fields.
• Familiarity with NDT techniques and reporting.
• Ability to interpret drawings and manufacturing processes.
• Proficient English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Validate purchase orders by aligning technical and quality data with manufacturing requirements.
• Manage inspection schedules and coordinate with suppliers and customer inspection bodies.
• Inspect nuclear spare parts and requalified equipment per defined points and supplier locations.
• Ensure steps meet purchase order requirements and applicable standards.
• Document deviations and liaise with suppliers, internal teams and customers.
• Communicate progress and results to procurement, logisticians and qualification teams.
• Promote Wärtsilä nuclear safety culture with suppliers.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports.
• Participate in supplier inspection management meetings.
