Mercor is assembling a panel of nuclear materials and safeguards experts to red-team frontier AI models, testing if a model can judge misuse potential while answering legitimate questions. The role involves writing prompts across three levels, evaluating model responses, and drafting reference answers with clear rationales.

Ideal candidates have worked on proliferation questions professionally (export control, treaty implementation, or programme analysis) and can distinguish routine questions

Qualifications

• Experience in export control licensing, classification or enforcement
• Experience with treaty implementation or safeguards agreements
• Proliferation pathway or programme analysis background

Responsabilités

• Write challenging single-turn prompts in benign, dual-use, and adversarial levels.
• Evaluate model responses against a policy standard.
• Draft reference answers and the technical reasoning behind them.
