Westinghouse Electric Company in Mondragon, France, offers an apprenticeship to learn maintenance activities and the replacement of nuclear equipment at CNPE sites. You will report to the Maintenance Operations Manager and be based on site.

During the program you will gain knowledge of nuclear safety, radiation protection, and quality compliance while developing tools and equipment. Expect travel to French nuclear sites about 40% of the time as you prepare for a Maintenance Technician role.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a two-year Bac+2 apprenticeship in the nuclear industry.
• Knowledge of general mechanics, automation/control and electronics.
• Autonomous and team-oriented.
• Valid category B driving license and a personal vehicle.

Responsabilités

• Learn the phases of intervention in a nuclear environment, including nuclear safety, radiation protection, quality compliance and schedule management.
• Travel to French nuclear power plant sites approximately 40% of the time.
• Assist in the development and qualification of new tools and equipment.
