Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking an apprentice to learn and perform maintenance activities, with interventions at CNPE sites in France. You will report to the Maintenance Operations Manager and be based on-site in Mondragon.

Initially, you will be prepared for a Maintenance Technician role, gaining knowledge of nuclear safety, radiation protection, and tool development while traveling to various plant sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bac+2 in nuclear industry field.
• Knowledge of mechanics, automation, and electronics required.
• Autonomous and able to work in a team.

Responsabilités

• Learn phases of intervention in a nuclear environment with safety and quality focus.
• Travel to French nuclear sites up to ~40% of the time.
• Assist in development and qualification of new tools and equipment.
• Prepare for a Maintenance Technician position.

About The Role

As an apprentince you will will learn how to prepare and perform maintenance activities or replace nuclear equipment. CNPE performs all interventions exclusively at CNPE sites (Nuclear Power Plants) in France.

You will report to the Maintenance Operations Manager and be located at Mondragon. This is an on-site position.

Main Responsibilities

• You will become familiar with the phases of intervention in a nuclear environment, including aspects such as nuclear safety, radiation protection, quality compliance, and schedule management.You will travel to French nuclear power plant sites approximately 40% of the time.
• You may also involve yourself in the development and qualification of new tools and equipment.
• We will initially prepare you for a position as a Maintenance Technician.

Qualifications

• You are pursuing a two-year post-secondary apprenticeship/work-study diploma (Bac+2 equivalent) in the nuclear industry field.
• Knowledge of general mechanics, automation/control systems, and electronics.
• Autonomous, and team-oriented.
• Valid category B driving license.
• Personal vehicle.
