Job summary

Keoni in France is seeking a Network and Security Engineer to join a transportation-sector client. The role secures deployment of new architectures, guarantees robustness and performance, and supports operations teams in complex environments.

Your missions include technical qualification of routers, switches and firewalls, implementation of reference models, and parameterization of configurations. You will provide Level 3 support and participate in scheduled production operations, including

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in network and security engineering.
• Proficiency with Juniper hardware and routing protocols.
• Knowledge of VPNs, WAN/LAN, and MPLS.
• Experience debugging network exchanges and monitoring protocols/tools.
• Familiarity with automation in network configurations (e.g., Ansible).

Responsibilities

• Secure the deployment of new architectures and solutions.
• Guarantee the quality, robustness, and predictability of technical solutions.
• Support operations teams in complex environments.
• Technical qualification of network and security equipment (routers, switches, firewalls).
• Definition and parameterization of equipment configurations.
• Performance tests under production-like conditions and pre-deployment validation.
• Level 3 (N3) support to operations teams on qualified areas.
• Participation in scheduled production operations, including off-peak or on-call interventions.
