A technology company is seeking a Senior .NET Software Engineer to join their remote team supporting EU Member States. The role involves designing ICT components, developing applications, and strengthening application security. Candidates should have at least 6 years of .NET experience and a degree in a related field. This is a long-term contract with a daily rate of €150, starting ASAP.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience in .NET software development.
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and performance troubleshooting.
  • Experience in website support and scripting.

Responsabilités

  • Design, develop, and implement ICT components.
  • Develop and test applications for the EUAA Asylum Knowledge Centre.
  • Implement automation and CI/CD pipelines.

Senior .NET Software Engineer (Remote, EU-based)

Location: Remote within the EU (candidates must have valid EU work/residency rights)
Rate: €150/day (excluding VAT)
Start date: ASAP
Duration: Long-term contract (125-day contract with possible extensions)

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior .NET Software Engineer to join our team working in the field of international protection, supporting EU Member States in applying asylum, international protection, and reception legislation. You will contribute to the development of secure, efficient, and scalable ICT solutions that help harmonize asylum practices across Europe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement ICT components including solution architecture, backend systems, and databases across cloud and on-premises environments

  • Develop and test applications for the EUAA Asylum Knowledge Centre (C3) according to business priorities

  • Implement automation and CI/CD pipelines

  • Develop user interfaces and apply final design specifications

  • Strengthen application security and perform source code reviews

  • Design and maintain integrations with other systems and platforms

  • Align solutions with ICT best practices and produce technical documentation

Requirements
  • University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience in .NET software development

  • Strong SQL skills, including experience with Microsoft SQL Server and performance troubleshooting

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure App Service

  • Proficiency with Web APIs, system integrations, and front-end frameworks such as Vue.js or React

  • Experience with third-party libraries (DevExpress, Telerik, jQuery) and web technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, XML, Bootstrap)

  • Experience in website support and PowerShell scripting (or similar)

  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar tools
