A leading organization in environmental research is seeking a Senior Research Associate specialized in Rights and Environmental Justice. The role involves leading research initiatives and capacity development across projects in Peru and internationally. Ideal candidates will possess a Master's degree and have extensive experience in rights and environmental justice in the Peruvian Amazon, with strong communication skills in English and Spanish.
CIFOR – ICRAF hosted by The InternationalPotato Center (CIP) is seeking for one (1) dedicated and motivated SeniorResearch Associate, , Rights and Environmental Justice to be part of the Governance, Equity and Well-being team.
About the role: Theselected candidate for this position will be the postholder to assist onactivities in projects that will include work in Africa, Asia and LatinAmerica. This position will provide research, engagement, and capacitydevelopment expertise to two projects - How are we doing? An adaptive learningtool for gender-responsive initiatives (funded by USAID) and Capacitydevelopment for equitable jurisdictional REDD+ (funded by CLUA) incollaboration with those projects’ key partners. The postholder will be basedin Peru or have the right to work in Peru. The role will include travel withinPeru and internationally.
