Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking an NPI Execution Support role focused on daily NPI lot execution, readiness tracking, and cross-functional coordination across SSD NPI and manufacturing teams.

The candidate will monitor NPI lot status, assist in expediting lots to meet dates, and support shift execution with tool readiness, process tracking, and documentation updates. A Nitec/Higher Nitec or Engineering Diploma is required, with 0–3 years in semiconductor operations.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years experience in semiconductor assembly, manufacturing, or operations support.
• Familiarity with cleanroom operations is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of NPI flows is preferred.
• Nitec/Higher Nitec/Diploma in Engineering (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related).

Responsibilities

• Support daily NPI lot execution across SSD.
• Monitor NPI lots status (WIP, holds, rework, conversion, disposition) and highlight risks.
• Assist in expediting NPI lots to meet dates.
• Track build readiness (material availability, tooling, DID, recipe, conversion readiness).
• Support daily shift execution by tracking tool readiness, downtime, conversion issues, process abnormalities, and holds.
• Help prepare and update daily execution trackers, WIP lists, and action logs.
• Escalate execution blockers promptly to responsible owners.
• Work closely with NPI / NPM engineers, Assembly Process & Equipment Engineers, CEM / IPPC / Manufacturing teams, and SSD NPM.
• Support interteam communication to ensure correct priorities for NPI lots.

SupportNew Product Introduction (NPI) executionactivities inMSB SSD NPMto ensuretimely, safe, and compliant execution of NPI builds, from lot release throughtest, by coordinating daily execution, tracking issues, and supporting engineers, CEM, IPPC, and manufacturing teams.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. NPI Execution Support (Core Responsibility)

• Supportdaily NPI lot executionacross SSD.
• MonitorNPIlotsstatus(WIP, holds, rework, conversion, disposition) and highlight risks toNPM / Process / Equipment / CEM.
• Assistinexpediting NPI lotsto meetMAD, MCD, and customer commitment dates.
• Trackbuild readiness(material availability, tooling, DID, recipe, conversion readiness).

2. Daily Operations & Issue Tracking

• Supportdaily shift executionby tracking:
• Tool readiness / downtime impact to NPI
• Conversion issues (recipe mismatch, DID gaps, tooling mismatch)
• Process abnormalities, yield issues, and holds
• Help prepare and updatedaily execution trackers, WIP lists, and action logs.
• Escalateexecution blockerspromptly to responsible owners.

3.CrossFunctionalCoordination

• Work closely with:
• NPI / NPM engineers
• Assembly Process & Equipment Engineers
• CEM / IPPC / Manufacturing teams
• SSD NPM
• Supportinterteamcommunicationto ensure correct priorities for NPI lots.
• Assistin coordinatingshift handover informationfor NPI execution continuity.

4. Documentation & System Support

• Assistin:
• Updating NPI build information inOmelek/ ATPEA / SAP / internal trackers.
• Verifying correctprocess flow, routing, and disposition rulesare applied.
• Support preparation ofbasic reports, summaries, and status updates for NPI reviews.
• Ensuredocumentation completenessfor NPI execution (build notes, deviations,followups).

5. Compliance, Safety & Quality

• Ensure NPI execution followsMSB SSD specifications, safety rules, and cleanroom protocols.
• Support engineers duringprocess deviations, ensuring proper escalation and documentation.
• Assistin monitoringhold lots, expired materialsimpact, andqualityrelatedalerts affecting NPI.

Required Qualifications

• Nitec/Higher Nitec/Diploma inEngineering(Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related).
• 0–3years experienceinsemiconductor assembly, manufacturing, or operations support.
• Familiarity withcleanroom operationsis an advantage.
• Basic knowledge ofNPI flowsis preferred.
