Discover International is seeking an experienced MSAT Director for our France site to lead the Manufacturing Science & Technology function and shape strategic MSAT direction.

You will drive technology transfer, scale-up, and industrialisation while partnering with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, R&D and customers to optimise performance.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading MSAT/ Manufacturing Technology in pharma or biopharma.
• Proven leadership of technical teams and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Strong GMP knowledge and technology transfer experience.
• Experience with sterile/aseptic or biologics is highly desirable.
• Fluent in French and English to operate in a French site and with global partners.

MSAT Director | France | Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

We are partnering with a leading pharmaceutical organisation seeking an experienced MSAT Director to lead and develop its Manufacturing Science & Technology function.

This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for technology transfer, industrialisation, process optimisation and manufacturing performance.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the MSAT / Manufacturing Technology team
• Drive technology transfer, scale-up and industrialisation
• Support process validation, PPQ, CPV and lifecycle management
• Lead technical investigations, troubleshooting and CAPA
• Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, R&D and customers
• Drive continuous improvement and technical excellence across the site

We're looking for:

• Strong pharmaceutical / biopharmaceutical manufacturing experience
• Background in MSAT, Manufacturing Technology, Technical Operations, Process Development or Industrialisation
• Proven technical and people leadership experience
• Strong GMP and technology transfer experience
• Sterile, aseptic, injectable or biologics experience is highly desirable
• Fluent French and English
