Mobility Project Manager (Paris - France)

Join the FIA as a Mobility Project Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the FIA’s global advocacy program and ensuring its effective execution. By developing and coordinating key initiatives, you will be crucial in reinforcing the FIA's position as the global voice for safe, sustainable, and accessible mobility. This role requires strong policy expertise, diplomatic skills, and seamless coordination with international stakeholders.

As a Mobility Project Manager, you will report directly to the Head of Road Safety & Global Advocacy.

Missions and Responsibilities:

  • Policy Development and Research:
  • Track and analyze global, regional, and national policy developments related to mobility (road safety, electrification, urban mobility, etc.).
  • Develop evidence‑based policy positions, briefing papers, and advocacy materials in consultation with internal experts.
  • Contribute to the strategic development and execution of the overall FIA Mobility Advocacy Strategy.
  • Support the FIA Mobility Research Programme by identifying trends, commissioning studies, and translating findings into actionable policy recommendations.
  • Advocacy and Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Drive capacity building initiatives for FIA Member Clubs, including designing and delivering training programmes and resources.
  • Implement targeted advocacy campaigns on priority issues and assist Member Clubs in influencing policymakers.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including international organizations and industry partners.
  • Provide policy advice, guidance, and resources to FIA Member Clubs to enhance their local and national advocacy capacity.
  • Facilitate and support the implementation of global advocacy projects and grant programs designed to empower Clubs.
  • Coordinate forums, meetings, and materials (e.g., toolkits, best practice guides) to facilitate knowledge exchange among Member Clubs.

Profile:

  • Master's degree in Public Policy, International Relations, Law, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role in policy development, advocacy, or public affairs in the mobility/transport sector is required.
  • First experience in the mobility/transport sector or in an international, fast‑paced, and membership‑based environment.
  • English proficiency and a proven ability to draft high‑quality policy documents and reports.
  • Additional major languages (French or Spanish) are a strong advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal, diplomatic, and negotiation skills to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage multiple projects efficiently.

Willingness to travel: International travel as required for meetings and events.
