A leading 3D perception startup in Île-de-France seeks a Robotics Engineer to develop software for autonomous vehicles. Candidates should possess a MSc or PhD in Computer Science or Robotics, with 2+ years of software experience, strong C++ skills, and familiarity with ROS. As a Stereolabs Robotics Engineer, you will be part of a talented team working on the ZED cameras and ZED SDK. You should know every single aspect of the ZED camera and SDK inside and out, and use your experience to create autonomous and smart machines such as ground, aerial and underwater vehicles, drones and robots.
You are:
A hands on Robotics Enthusiast: You spend your evenings and weekends building new robots
ASoftware Developer: code is critical in this role; you have experience with robotics sensors and ROS has no secrets for you. You have worked on perception, localization, navigation and teleoperation.
In this role, your goal is to build readily usable software making the most of the ZED capabilities towards autonomous and smart robots. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing software that will act as use cases to show our customers.
MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field.
2+ years of software engineering experience.
Solid understanding of C++ in a Linux environment
Experience with the Robot Operating System (ROS)
Excellent visual and verbal communication skills
Experience building APIs, launching SDKs
Strong desire to work in a startup environment with a passionate team to help grow a business
