Job summary

Alta Ares is building AI-powered defense software. As an MLOps Engineer you will own Gamma Ulixes, the production AI platform powering internal workflows and customer capabilities.

You'll collaborate with ML, Software and DevOps teams to transform research prototypes into scalable, reliable ML systems, design reproducible pipelines, and deploy across cloud, on‑premise and edge environments, including Nvidia Jetson hardware.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in MLOps or related production ML roles.
• Strong Python software engineering skills.
• Experience designing and operating production-grade ML infrastructure.
• Solid understanding of Docker, Linux and containerized environments.
• Experience with ML experiment tracking, model registries and reproducible workflows.
• Experience designing APIs and backend services for AI applications.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and cloud-native development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve Gamma Ulixes, the AI platform for training, evaluating and deploying machine learning models.
• Build experiment tracking, model registry and dataset management capabilities.
• Design reproducible ML workflows and automated training pipelines.
• Develop benchmarking, evaluation and model validation services.
• Collaboration with ML, Software and Infrastructure teams to industrialize research workflows.
