Kpler is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to design, deploy, and optimize predictive models powering our commodity, energy, and maritime intelligence platforms. You will collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, and product teams to deliver real-time insights and robust software solutions.

You will bridge research and engineering, implement scalable ML workflows, and contribute to production-grade Python applications while upholding CI/CD practices in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years as a data-focused software engineer.
• Significant production Python experience.
• Deep understanding of electricity-grid fundamentals.

Responsabilités

• Architect and deploy ML pipelines for power market forecasting and grid modeling.
• Bridge research and engineering to production-grade Python apps.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL schemas for time-series data and events.
• Establish automated model training, backtesting, evaluation, tuning, and versioning.
• Build robust data ingestion and transformation pipelines with high integrity and low latency.
• Write modular, well-tested Python code and engage in CI/CD and Agile delivery.
