OECD and IEA jointly recruit a Programme Manager for the Mission Innovation Secretariat, based at the IEA in Paris. The role focuses on coordinating workstreams, governance, and engagement with MI members and partners to deliver strategic outputs across energy innovation initiatives.

The position requires five+ years in programme management, strong drafting, and fluency in English and French. A fixed-term appointment runs through Sep 2028, with potential renewal and competitive allowances.

Qualifications

• Advanced university degree in a relevant discipline (energy policy, economics, public policy, international relations, innovation studies).
• At least five years of relevant professional experience in programme management, policy analysis or international collaboration in energy/climate/innovation.
• Experience coordinating complex projects or multi-stakeholder initiatives in an international environment.
• Strong understanding of energy innovation systems and policy.
• Proven drafting abilities in reports, briefings or policy analyses.
• Experience supporting international partnerships and working across cultures.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate Mission Innovation workstreams, including governance, planning and reporting.
• Engage with MI members, partners and stakeholders to foster collaboration and outputs.
• Prepare briefing materials, strategic papers and communications for leadership and external audiences.
• Support major MI meetings and events, including ministerial and annual gatherings.
