A leading media data firm in France is seeking a Media Data Analyst to analyze media data and provide strategic insights for clients in the sports marketing sector. We are looking for a strong Media Data Analyst to join us at Nielsen Sports asap. This role plays a crucial role in analysing media data to extract valuable insights for our clients in the sports marketing industry. This role focuses on utilizing provided data to develop and implement analytical models, interpret findings, and communicate results to evaluate media performance, measure sponsorship ROI, and support strategic decision‑making. Will act as a trusted advisor to our clients, providing data‑driven audience insights and strategic recommendations based on a deep understanding of the (French) sports market.
Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in media evaluation, audience analytics, and sports marketing.
Maintain modern analytical techniques and tools to enhance data interpretation and reporting.
Contribute to the development and refinement of methodologies for media evaluation and sponsorship ROI measurement.
Prepare clear and concise reports and presentations to communicate findings to clients.
Effectively explain complex data analysis in a way that is understandable and actionable for non‑technical audiences.
Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and tailor analyses accordingly.
Present results and recommendations to clients in a professional and persuasive manner.
Utilize existing datasets of media coverage from various sources (e.g., print, online, broadcast incl. TV ratings) to perform in‑depth analysis.
Apply statistical skills to identify trends, extract key performance indicators (KPIs), and evaluate media effectiveness.
Analyse audience data to understand viewership, engagement, and demographics.
Work closely with other members of the media solutions & media delivery team to ensure consistent and high‑quality analysis.
Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues to contribute to the overall development of the team.
