Big Science Sweden is seeking a Mechanical Technician to support their assembly and commissioning efforts within the fusion energy project. You will operate and test specialized hydraulic and motor-powered tools designed for the assembly of the ITER Tokamak device.

Your role includes resolving tool issues and continuing to develop your skills for the project’s success, contributing to advancements in fusion energy technology.

Qualifications

• Experience operating hydraulic/motor powered assembly tools.
• Ability to resolve issues related to assembly tools.
• Willingness to develop skills under the guidance of a manager.

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity at the heart of an ambitious fusion energy project? Join ourAssembly and Commissioning Support Division within the Engineering Service Department (ESD) as a Mechanical Technician supporting the operation of assembly tools.

As a Mechanical Technician, Tooling,your goals will include:

• Operating and testing the hydraulic / motor powered assembly tools which have been designed to lift, adjust, transport and align components during the assembly of the ITER Tokamak device.
• Following up the resolution of any potential issues with the tools concerned.
• Developing, under the leadership of your discipline manager, your skills and experience for the benefit of the Project.
