Big Science Sweden in Grenoble is seeking a Mechanical Engineer specializing in modelling and simulation to perform numerical analyses and simulations that validate and optimise complex mechanical designs for projects.

You will contribute to ensuring the reliability, performance and safety of mechanical structures, systems and equipment developed within the Institute's Projects and Techniques Division.

Mechanical Engineer – Modelling & Simulation

As part of the ILL’s Projects and Techniques Division, the Design, Calculations and Construction service is responsible, among other things, for modelling, designing and producing complex assemblies for projects being carried out in the Institute’s Science and Reactor Divisions.

Your tasks

In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out numerical analyses and simulations in order to validate and optimise mechanical designs. You will ensure the reliability, performance and safety of the mechanical structures, systems and equipment developed.
