Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and optimize gas box systems for semiconductor manufacturing.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., SEMI, ASME, NFPA).
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including Process engineers, System engineers, NPME, GPS, TPS, Lab Ops, Buyers, OEM manufacturers and local machine shops.
  • Conduct failure analysis and implement design improvements.
  • Conduct Concept, Detailed and Final Design reviews.
  • Support installation, testing, and troubleshooting of gas delivery systems.
  • Submit Product Change Request based on customer requests.
  • Review and Approve Engineering Change Request, Supplier Problem Sheet.
  • Review and Approve Cap Code Request for new gas configuration on new shipment.
  • Initiate Supplier Collaboration Vault for prototype and/or lab support designs.
  • Collaborate with Component Engineering on new Product Developments (MFC, pneumatic/hybrid/manual valve, filter, regulator, Flow Ratio Controller, Integrate Mass Flow Specification).
Identify Key Qualifications & Skills
  • Education: Master’s in Mechanical Engineering / Bachelor’s.
  • Experience: 5+ years in semiconductor gas delivery systems.
  • Technical Skills: Mechanical Design & Engineering.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (NX/SolidWorks/AutoCAD).
  • Knowledge of fluid dynamics, gas compatibility, Macro Flow and gas flow control.
  • Familiarity with high‑purity gas systems, and components including pneumatic valves, hybrid/manual valves, regulators, filters, ev manifolds, pressure switch.
  • Understanding of safety protocols for hazardous gases.
  • Functional Knowledge: Demonstrates depth and/or breadth of expertise in own specialized discipline or field.
  • Business Expertise: Interprets internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services.
  • Leadership: May lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity.
  • Problem Solving: Leads others to solve complex problems; uses sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgment and identify innovative solutions.
  • Impact: Impacts the achievement of customer, operational, project or service objectives; work is guided by functional policies.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Communicates difficult concepts and negotiates with others to adopt a different point of view.

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable. For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
