Jobtailor is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design engineer to lead multidisciplinary product development with a focus on aerospace and defense systems. You will conduct analyses, update PLM data, and document technical facts for state-controlled site compliance.

Required Master’s in Mechanical Design and 3+ years of experience, with strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Creo familiarity is a plus, and clearance for state-controlled sites is mandatory.

• Conduct studies based on historical data and reviews of physical and/or digital models
• Manage the design and development process for multidisciplinary products (mechanical, optoelectronic, etc.)
• Carry out mechanical studies and develop concepts related to aerospace or defense systems (radar, laser, trim, camera, etc.)
• Modify designs and concepts based on feedback from analysis, production, or maintenance teams
• Complete technical documentation and other required supporting justifications
• Conduct documentary research and detailed analyses of definition data to document facts, technical incidents, and repairs
• Update PLM/PDM databases and associated specifications

Requirements

• Master’s degree (or equivalent, Bac+5) in Mechanical Design
• At least 3 years of significant experience in this field
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Creo would be an advantage
• The successful candidate must meet the clearance and access authorization requirements for state-controlled sites subject to national defense secrecy regulations
