Qualifications

Responsabilités

  • Participating in the definition of tooling concepts during the bidding phase.
  • Conducting feasibility and detailed studies.
  • Producing assembly drawings, detailed drawings, and bills of materials.

Fluent in English
Proficiency in CAD software, preferably Inventor and AutoCAD
Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
Strong writing skills

About The Role

As a Mechanical Design Engineer you will be responsible for designing special-purpose machines for machining, welding, metrology, non-destructive testing, and/or handling activities.

You will report to the Product Manager and be located at Marseille.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participating in the definition of tooling concepts during the bidding phase
  • Conducting feasibility and detailed studies
  • CAD design and mechanical sizing
  • Selecting materials and electromechanical components
  • Producing assembly drawings, detailed drawings, and bills of materials
  • Creating intervention sequence plans and handling plans
  • Writing design, qualification, and implementation documentation for tooling
  • Participating in workshop acceptance tests, development, and qualification of tooling.
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree (Bac+5) in general or mechanical engineering, or equivalent
  • 0 to 10 years of experience in design or manufacturing projects
  • Passion for mechanics and special-purpose machinery
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong writing skills and ability to synthesize information
  • Proficiency in CAD software, preferably Inventor and AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of EUROCODES; familiarity with the Machinery Directive is a plus
  • Knowledge and experience in the nuclear field and RCC-M regulations are appreciated.
