Job summary

CMA CGM Marseille is seeking a Port Operations Agent to coordinate ship stopovers and serve as the interface between the vessel, Line, local authorities, port services, and the handler.

You will oversee administrative stopover preparation, reporting, and coordination of crew changes, cargo, and local stakeholders. Strong French/English communication and MS Office skills are required to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate degree in Logistics/Transport is required.
• 6 months experience in the same position is required.
• Good communication skills in spoken and written French/English are essential.
• Good command of MS Office and basic computer tools.

Responsibilities

• Interface with the ship and inform the Captain of stopover documents and local regulations.
• Coordinate crew changes, supplies, and coordination with local stakeholders on technical interventions.
• Manage port services: lookout, pilotage, towing, mooring; report to Harbour Master.
• Prepare administrative stopover documents with bookings, logistics, cargo flow and planning departments.
• Centralise information for the Line and central Ship Planner; order handling teams.
• Draw up complete port call reports and check supplier invoices (stevedoring, pilot, etc.).
• Carry out terminal interventions (customs visits) and compile weekly/monthly/annual statistics.
