CMA CGM Group is seeking a Port Operations Agent for our Marseille Agency. The role involves coordinating the stopover of ships, interfacing with ship crews, local authorities, and port services, and ensuring proper documentation and reporting.

The role requires a postgraduate degree in Logistics/Transport, at least 6 months in a similar position, and strong French/English communication; night and weekend work may be required in line with ship stopovers.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate degree in Logistics/Transport required.
• 6 months experience in a similar ship operations role.
• Good written and spoken French and English communication.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate stopover preparation with internal departments and act as interface between Line, ship, authorities, port services and handling.
• Inform Captain of required stopover documents and local regulations; handle crew, cargo, and technical coordination with port services.
• Report to Harbour Master and ensure 24-hour monitoring of ship and handling operations; produce ongoing stopover progress reports.
• Collaborate with Booking, Logistics, Cargo Flow and Planning to collect export files for central ship planner and finalize onboard documentation.
• Prepare a complete port call report; check supplier invoices; perform terminal interventions; generate weekly, monthly and annual statistics.
