Job Description

The Project Manager for the MENA region manages a roster of artists, serving as the main point of contact. They are responsible for maintaining relationships with artists and helping them grow their audiences. This includes coordinating and executing marketing and promotional campaigns during artist releases.

Responsibilities:
  1. Relationship: Build strong relationships with artists and ensure customer satisfaction to renew contracts.
  2. Roster Building: Negotiate and sign deals with artists aligned with signing policies and objectives.
  3. Data Analysis & Strategy: Analyze audience data, sales, and performance history to develop creative, profitable marketing plans to expand artist audiences across all platforms (DSPs, social media, etc.).
  4. Execution: Implement marketing and release plans; manage day-to-day artist relationships, management, and partners; oversee audio and video distribution.
  5. Coordination: Collaborate with all teams (EMP, digital marketing, support, etc.) on projects.
  6. Budget & Finance: Manage marketing budgets and P&L for each project; prepare accurate forecasts.
  7. Reporting: Deliver sales and marketing reports; conduct regular Business Reviews with artists to demonstrate performance and the impact of Believe's services.
Qualifications:
  • Excellent relationship-building skills; artist-friendly; experienced in liaising with artists/labels or third-party stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in the recorded music industry and negotiation; experience in curation and/or artist/management roles preferred.
  • Digital-first approach focusing on online audience development and digital content strategy.
  • Ability to be both creative and data-driven.
  • Strong prioritization and responsibility sense.
  • Capability to develop creative and innovative artist development campaigns.
  • Data analysis skills to optimize development strategies.
  • Structured, organized, and capable of monitoring budgets and following processes.
  • Motivated to work with a fast-moving, evolving roster.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
