Within IBG Group, join us at IBG Lab, our global brand incubator focused on building owned brands and reshaping the consumer goods landscape. Our mission is simple: turn high-potential concepts into scalable, culture-driven brands with velocity across DTC, retail and social commerce.

We’re seeking a Marketing Director to lead the marketing strategy across our portfolio of emerging brands, from zero to $10M and beyond. You’ll work side by side with founders, creatives, product developers, and growth teams to launch, scale and accelerate digitally native brands with high cultural resonance.

Think Zuru Edge meets Glossier meets Erewhon-core. This role is for the bold, brand-obsessed marketer who thrives at the intersection of culture, commerce and content.

The ideal candidate has worked in the U.S., with a strong grasp of American consumer behavior, retail dynamics, and digital channels. They know what works on U.S. shelves, what pops in a paid ad, and what resonates in a TikTok scroll. With a deep appetite for scaling DNVB, this person combines cultural fluency with sharp execution to bring brands to life online and in-store.

What You’ll Own

  • Build & execute 360° go-to-market strategies for new brands across DTC, B2B and retail

  • Own the full marketing funnel: brand positioning, paid performance, organic social, content, creator/influencer strategies, PR & retail marketing in close collaboration with cross-functional teams

  • Collaborate with internal creative and product teams to develop compelling brand identities and marketing toolkits

  • Recruit, lead, and manage marketing teams across brand launches and scale-ups

  • Be obsessed with culture: spot trends early, infuse Gen Z/Millennial relevance into all touchpoints

  • Lead channel strategies across Shopify, Amazon, TikTok Shop, Instagram, and key retail activations

  • Help drive omni-channel retail acceleration, including support for retailer pitch decks, in-store storytelling and promotional plans

What You Bring

  • 10+ years of experience in brand marketing and/or growth marketing, ideally within a startup or incubator environment

  • Proven success in launching and scaling consumer brands from 0 to $10M+ in revenue

  • Fluent in developing and executing integrated digital marketing strategies, including influencer partnerships, content creator collaborations, paid media, and performance marketing across multiple channels

  • Strong digital-native mindset with taste for aesthetics, copy, community and creators

  • Experience in beauty, personal care, wellness or food/bev is a strong plus

  • Highly collaborative, data-driven, and able to balance speed with brand integrity

  • Confident working across multiple projects, with an agile, lean team structure

Location

Based in our Paris office, with hybrid flexibility. Some travel may be required for brand activations or retailer meetings.
