CoStar Group in Paris is seeking a Senior Market Analyst to join our Research organization. You will provide analytic content for assigned regions and work with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights and strategic initiatives.

The role leverages your ability to interpret large datasets, produce narratives and visual reports, and present findings to clients and industry events. Based in Paris, this full-time position offers growth in a data-driven, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or other graduate degree in a related field.
• Experience working with R, SQL, and BI.
• Familiarity with data forecasting and data visualization (Power BI).
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

ABOUT THE ROLE

CoStar is seeking a Senior Market Analyst to join our Research organization. The selected candidate will provide analytic content for their assigned regions. The Analyst will play a pivotal role in our our market analyst team. You will work closely with analysts and other cross-functional teams to provide actionable insights and drive strategic initiatives. This full-time position offers an opportunity to leverage your analytical skills to interpret complex datasets, and contribute to the growth of CoStar Group's commercial real estate market intelligence.

The position will be based in our Paris office.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collect, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources to provide accurate and timely insights into commercial real estate markets.
• Utilize statistical methods and analytical tools to interpret large datasets, identifying patterns, trends, and anomalies.
• Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and data visualizations to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to different stakeholders.
• Create dashboards and visual interactive reports using Power BI.
• Stay current with industry trends, market conditions, and emerging technologies to provide informed insights and recommendations.
• Monitor key market indicators and maintain a deep understanding of commercial real estate dynamics.
• Produce meaningful, relevant, and insightful analytic content describing real estate market conditions in the assigned regions for inclusion in CoStar’s product offering
• This analytic content will take written forms primarily, including (1) written narratives in CoStar’s market and sub-market reports; (2) video content; (3) presentations to clients and at industry events; and (4) written and visual content for CoStar’s news platform.
• Engage in interactions and discussions with CoStar customers to deliver market analysis and seek industry input to inform CoStar’s view of developing trends in the real estate market.
• Deliver in-person and video market updates to CoStar clients and industry groups, focusing on economic and commercial real estate trends.
• Respond to media inquiries to provide CoStar’s view on economic and commercial real estate trends.
• Regularly review and monitor CoStar data for accuracy, timeliness, and quality, and ensure errors and outliers are corrected promptly.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or other graduate degree in a related field
• Experience working with R, SQL, business intelligence,
• Familiarity with data forecasting and data visualization techniques tools such as Power BI.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and interpret large datasets.
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
